El Deté | Control Room — Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 8, 2026
El Deté | Control Room, at control.eldete.app, is the internal operations console of El Deté, the online football management game at eldete.app. It is used only by the people who run the game — its owner and its moderators — to follow what is happening in the game and to check that its services are working. It is not part of the game and players do not use it.
This page explains what the Control Room collects from the people who sign in to it, what that information is used for, and how to have it deleted.
Who can sign in
Only the Google accounts on the Control Room's access list. Anyone else who tries is turned away at the door and sees nothing of the console.
What we collect
- Your Google account basics. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, your email address and your profile picture. We never see your password, and we do not ask for access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts, calendar or any other Google data.
- Your entry on the access list. For each person who is allowed in we keep their email address, their name, their role (owner or moderator), whether their access is active, when they were added and when they last signed in. We do not store your profile picture.
- A record of sign-in attempts. Every attempt to sign in is recorded with the email address of the Google account, the date and time, whether it was let in and, if it was not, the reason. This includes attempts made with accounts that are not on the access list. A console with this much access to the game must be able to answer who came in, and who tried.
- Your session. While you are signed in, an encrypted cookie in your browser holds your name, email address, picture address and role. It expires after 12 hours. A few display preferences are kept in your browser's local storage. We do not set advertising cookies and we do not use third-party analytics.
- Technical logs. Like any website, our hosting provider records your IP address and browser type when your browser talks to our servers.
How we use it
- To check that your email address is on the access list, and to sign you in.
- To know who each person on the access list is, and to apply the permissions of their role.
- To review who has entered the console, and who has tried to, for security.
We do not use this information for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to build profiles.
Your Google data
We use the information we receive from Google only to identify you and decide whether you may enter the Control Room. We do not transfer it to anyone except the service providers listed below, who handle it only to keep the console running. The Control Room's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Information about the players of the game
The Control Room displays information that El Deté already holds about its players and their activity in the game — for example a coach name, a club name and what that coach did in the game. It does not collect anything new from players. How El Deté collects and uses that information is explained in the El Deté Privacy Policy.
Who helps us run the Control Room
- Google: sign-in.
- Vercel: hosting of the console (United States).
- A managed PostgreSQL database provider: the access list and the record of sign-in attempts.
- Supabase: the database of the game, which the console reads (United States).
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose it if the law requires us to.
How long we keep it, and how to delete it
We keep your entry on the access list while you have access to the Control Room, and the record of sign-in attempts for as long as it is useful for security. You can ask us at any time to delete your information: we will remove it within 30 days. You can also ask for a copy of it, or to have it corrected. Removing the Control Room from the apps connected to your Google account, in your Google account settings, stops Google from sharing your information with it.
Children
The Control Room is a tool for the staff of the game. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
All traffic to the Control Room is encrypted, nothing in it can be seen without signing in, and access is limited to the accounts on its list. No online service can promise perfect security, but we work to protect your information.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
